Only takes 30 seconds
Open Males will be challenged on 6 unique boulders from V4 and up. Only the top 6 climbers will make it through to their respective finals, so bring your A-game to the qualifiers!
Open Females will be challenged on 6 unique boulders from V3 and up. Only the top 6 climbers will make it through to their respective finals, so bring your A-game to the qualifiers!
But don't worry if you're not quite ready for the Open category yet, there's still a chance to win big in our Social category! Climbers will be challenged on boulders starting from V2 and up, and each flash will earn 2 raffle tickets while each send (non-flash) will earn 1 ticket. The more routes you complete, the greater your chances of winning one of our amazing prizes in the final raffle!
But here's the catch: climbers in the Social category cannot compete in the Open category and vice versa. You'll need to bring your best climbing skills, as you'll only get 3 chances to send a route to earn raffle tickets, after 3 failed attempts you will no longer be able to earn a ticket for that route. If you manage to climb or fail all the set Social routes, you'll have the opportunity to start climbing the Benchmark routes from V2 to V4 max. Complete all the benchmark routes for a grade to progress to the next V grade.
Maybe you'll be one of our lucky winners!
So what are you waiting for? Chalk Up, Sign up, Let's Climb!
Open Female and Male Finals will be held on the same day, one after the other, each with 4 boulders. The climbing order will be determined by your position from Qualifiers with the highest qualifier going first, and so on.
Finalists have up to 5 attempts per boulder, with a 2-minute observation period. Finalists may not touch/climb the moon board during observation.
The competition is open viewing, and finalists take their first attempt in a rotating fashion based on their ranking from the qualifiers. If a finalist has had less than 1 minute of rest since their previous attempt, they may choose to pass in the current rotation, and this will not count as an attempt.
Finalists will be differentiated by their number of tops, and tiebreaker climbs will be set if necessary. Open Male and Open Female Finalists may communicate with each other during their respective finals.
Only finalists may climb on the moon board during the competition, and spectators may not communicate with the finalists or provide beta.
The top 3 placements in each category will win a prize.
